The Westminster athletic program consists of 13 varsity and club sport teams and is a member of the NAIA Division I level. Men's and Women's Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Women's Volleyball and Women's Soccer compete in the Frontier Conference with schools from Montana and Idaho. Men's Soccer competes as an NAIA independent . Men's Lacrosse is a member of the MCLA and competes in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference.

Beginning fall 2008 the Griffins will launch Women's Lacrosse and Men's and Women's Skiing and Snowboarding. Women's Lacrosse plans to compete in the Rocky Mountain Women�s Lacrosse League and Men's and Women's Skiing and Snowboarding will compete in the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association.
